Re: Akiskinook Tubular Skylight

We have finished installing our tubular skylight as of Sunday May 27th. The installation has gone very well. The total length was just over 20 ft. The added light it provides is great.

On a sunny day, it is comparable to having roughly 2 - 60 watt bulbs on or better, and on a cloudy day, it is like having a single 60-watt bulb. The light is a very soft light that fills the room. Prior to having the tubular skylight, we couldn+t read in our dining area without the lights on. Even on the brightest days there was just not enough natural light. Now with the tubular skylight, even on cloudy days we can read without any extra lighting during the daytime. We are looking forward to adding a second tubular skylight in the fall.
