1. Find the pitch or slope of roof with Roof Pitch Finder.
2. Measure distance from outside wall to location of the center of the skylite.
3. Compare with graph as to where they intersect which will give attic space plus add 2’ for exterior.
Example: 4/12 slope, 9’ from wall=approximate 3’ in attic, plus 2’=5’ of pipe.
